I saw Sugaree on the playground one day after not having seen him a while. He informed me his excitement on his upcoming art exhibition in Chicago. I asked where, and he told me. I said I'd be there. He was shocked, as he wasn't aware I was there.

wooman decided to go with me to JavaCha Cafe on Clark Street near Belmont to meet this old timer and show our support.

After finally finding the place, and worse, finding parking, we walked in the place. woo starts quietly throwing "Sug?" to random people in the little cafe. No one replied, so we decided to get some drinks and cakes and sit down for a bit.

Finally, a very tall, artistic-looking girl walks in. Now, prior, I'd thought Sugaree was a guy, but woo thought otherwise. Therefore, we had both become confused. woo does another "Sug" in the direction of the newly-entered woman. She turned around questioningly, and we asked if she was one of the artists. She said she wasn't, but that they'd be arriving shortly. We explained the situation as she sat down with us. She talked about Sugaree and the other artist and all was solved.

A little while later, Sugaree arrived with his friend/fellow artist Dolan. Both, and the tall girl, Ally, were absolutely delightful. We enjoyed chatting together and looking at the wonderful artwork.

Sugaree signed a couple of "fan photos" for us, to our delight. Look out, Chicago Sissies - this one's thinking of becoming ONE OF US! And we'd be glad if he did!
